When an industry leader in B2C found itself plagued with SEO challenges they turned to Ubiq team members for answers. The team’s research showed these challenges resulted from spam and duplicate product content from multiple web sources. Plus, we found serious black hat issues. The product of aggressive linking from internal web sites, such issues could be perceived by Google as unethical and put the company at considerable risk. By eliminating sites outside of Google’s guidelines and unifying optimized content, the team helped drive quarter-over-quarter growth by an average of over nine percent.
